This event marks the Maryland Cybersecurity Center's (MC2) first workshop on cybersecurity programs, and while it does focus on in the commercial nuclear power industry it looks at the more holistic approach to defense against cyber attacks that is relevant to any industry or agency. Taking place in College Park, Maryland, academic leaders at the university together with individuals from the federal government, commercial nuclear power industry, and private sector will explore new regulatory and industry-led initiatives to protect our nation's critical infrastructure from cyber-based threats.
